Horace Moore Holden (March 5, 1866 – February 7, 1936)[1] was an American lawyer and judge who served as a justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia from 1907 to 1911.

Early life and education
Horace Moore Holden was born on March 5, 1866, in Warren County, Georgia. His father was William Franklin Holden,[2] "a prominent citizen of the county at that time".[1] Holden became a student at the University of Georgia in the fall of 1883 and graduated in 1885.[2]
Legal and political career
On February 22, 1886, Holden was admitted to the bar in Taliaferro County, Georgia.
On April 12, 1886, he began practicing law in Crawfordville, Georgia.[2]
In 1894, Holden was elected as a Democratic nominee for a seat in the Georgia House of Representatives.[1][2] He became a member of the state Democratic campaign committee in 1896, and a member of the Democratic executive committee
